RSPCA Freedom Food – BBC Good Food Show
Freedom Food wanted to create awareness, interest, and traffic at the show itself, as well as high brand recall once visitors had left the event.
FMS adopted an ‘Animal Warhol’ style approach to create a distinctive look to the Freedom Food stand that would have broad appeal. This iconic imagery was used on the main ‘tower’ of the stand, a goody bag and its contents. The goody bags, clear carrier bags with the design printed one side only so that the contents could be seen, were a key means of ‘advertising’ the Freedom Food stand to visitors to the exhibition, arousing interest in, and driving traffic to, the stand.
Regular cooking demonstrations engaged passing traffic, enticing visitors to sample dishes cooked using Freedom Food produce.
Post event, the ‘Animal Warhol’ branded contents of the goody bag, desirable and useful items such as a recipe book, magnetic pad and pen for the fridge door, and trolley coin, provided reminders of the Freedom Food brand, prior to, and at point of purchase long after the show had finished.
Vaillant – The Lord Mayor’s Show
Vaillant commissioned FMS to design and build The Worshipful Company of Plumbers float for the Lord Mayor's Show. The float communicated the chosen theme, the use of water in London, to the crowd as it passed. On the day itself the event management team had to ensure that everything ran to schedule, that the brand ambassadors were fully briefed and that the two giant hares (the Vaillant emblem) and minders were kitted out to last the distance!
The event was a resounding success. Everything went extremely well on the day and the float gained some excellent television coverage for our clients.
Used intelligently, direct marketing can enhance the value of a brand as well as deliver hard, tangible results.
Plans go wrong when they have no aim. When you don't know what harbour you're heading for no wind is in the right direction!
